Angel’s Camp, CA. The FPT’s Central valley region kicked the year off last Saturday with a total field of 61 teams - not including 19 youth teams, vying for their first win of the season, a head-start on the 2022 FPT Angler of the Year title, and a shot at one of only 25 berths that will be available in the 2022 FPT Classic Championship.

A warm day welcomed anglers, which combined with no wind, gave hope to many teams that big fish opportunities could be present, which would heighten their chances at taking home first place honors.

The team of Brad Holloway and Bret Price took full advantage of the warm weather, topping the field in the adult division, on the strength of a hefty 14.57 pound five-fish limit, which they caught using a variety of baits.

For their victory, they received $4,000 in cash, and two custom trophies.

Congratulations Brad and Bret on a well-deserved victory!
