2025 FPT Top-75 Western Tour Classic Information
For those that qualified, please note the following regarding the 2025 Future Pro Tour Top-75 Western Tour Classic event:
The 2025 FPT Top-75 Western Tour Classic event will be held on October 4-5th, at Lake Don Pedro. This year’s field will see at total field of 25 teams + 1 wild card competing for this tour’s inaugural Classic crown!
The 1st place prize for this event is $10,000 cash – GUARANTEED - regardless of how many teams participate.
Classic – Pre-Event Information
Classic - Off-limits:
Lake Don Pedro will be off-limits to Classic qualifiers on Sept 29th and 30th.
Classic - Official Pre-fish:
Official pre-fish will from Oct 1st thru Oct 3rd.
All qualifiers must be off the water by Oct 3rd by 12:00 noon.
Classic Celebration - Dinner Details
Registration/check-in, and our traditional Classic Celebration Banquet will be held at Chicken Ranch Casino Resort on Friday Oct 3rd. The Chicken Ranch Casino Resort is located at:

It is mandatory that at least one member of the team come to the registration/check-in, to get information regarding blast-off/weigh-in times.
Classic Celebration Itinerary:
- 3:00 - 4:00pm - Registration/Cocktail Mixer
- 4:30 - 5:30pm - Celebration dinner
- 5:30 - 6:45pm - Awards, raffle, and official rules review
You must RSVP and pay (via online) for you and your guests celebration dinner - and any options you with to participate in, no later than Sept 15th so that the venue staff can have an accurate head count for dinner preparation.
Lake Don Pedro Offers also has Houseboats at the Marina.
All our Houseboats come with linens, fully equipped kitchens, TV, Wifi and a Gas grill Propane is provided.

Classic –Event Information
Blast-off / Weigh-in
- Live well checks will start at 6:00 am
- Blast-off will be at 7:00AM - SHARP
- All Flights will be due in at 3:00pm
- Blast-off order is determined by the way you finished in the AOY points
- Order will be reversed on the second day.
Entry & Payout:
No entry fee required to participate, as this event is for qualifying teams that have EARNED their berth via on-the-water performance. Remember...the 1st place team is guaranteed a $10,000 cash prize regardless of how many teams participate in this championship event.
A "sample" of the payout from the "options pots"
A $120 "High-Rollers" OPTION POT will be available and will be paid back to places 2nd – 5th, and will be paid back as follows:
- 2nd - $1,000
- 3rd - $700
- 4th - $600
- 5th - $500
The top 3 finishers will also receive trophy awards.
Please note that the winning team DOES NOT receive any "High-Roller" option money, only 2-5th places.
A $40 Big Fish Option pot will be available, with the overall biggest fish of the event receiving the following cash award:
- 1st Big Fish $500
The overall Big Fish winner will receive a Big Fish Trophy award.
The above options payout are based on 26 paid fees and will be adjusted up or down accordingly. This is just a "sample", as many will not participate in these option pots. At the end of the event we will post how many participated in the options for all to see.
Please note that a small portion of option fees (appx 10%) are retained to help with "Classic" weigh-in staffing costs.
R2Sea Youth Angler League – Classic Championship Event Information
- All YAL qualifiers will compete ONLY on Saturday Oct 4h
- Participation cost is $25 per angler, and participants will receive trophies, and cash prizes as follows:
12-18 - (Jr's) Division’s Classic Championship Event awards
- 1st Place - $200 + custom 1st place award
- 2nd Place - $150 + custom 2nd place award
- 3rd Place - $100 + custom 3rd place award
5-11 - (Kid's Division) – Classic Championship Event awards
- 1st Place - $100 cash, + custom 1st place award
- 2nd Place - $50 cash, + custom 2nd place award
- 3rd Place - $25 cash, + custom 3rd place award
The Youth Angler League payout will be based on are based on paid entries and will be adjusted up or down accordingly. If there are not enough participants in the "Kids Division", that division will be merged with the Jr's division.
